  • How can Microsoft legally sell a refurbished xbox 360 as a new unit?

Posted by admin on January 18th, 2010 and filed under refurbished |

I went to pawn my 360 for a loan, and they wouldn’t take it because I was a refurbished unit. I bout this thing brand new at a game store for $299.99. How the fuck is that legal?

It is not microsofts fault, they just make the stuff. Many game stores buy used game systems and refurbish them to sell again. When you bought the 360 was it new, or did you just think it was? Just because it is packaged and looks new, does not mean it is. Unless it expressly said it was new, then it could have legally been a refurbished system.

You bought the unit from a Game Store - is what you said.

Then its the Game Store you have an issue with.

Go back to the Game Store with the unit and explain the problem.. Nothing to do with Microsoft, they didn’t sell you the console. They make the console.
