To me it would depend on the cost and how long the guarantee was for. I bought my son a refurbished PS2 from gamestation and it had a years guarantee and it was perfect.

i had one, got no problems at all. If its from PC world im sure it is working fine else they wont sell it, better if it comes with a warranty.

Yes. they are just laptops where the cash has ben refunded to the buyer mainly.
They send them away to be checked over and re-packaged.

use the basics, if they will give u a warranty for at least 3 months, go for it . i recommend apple, it has the least returns because it dont get viruses. if something is going to go wrong with it , it will happen in the first 30 days

Hi,
My friend bought one and he’s been happy with it and I have to say I was tempted,however,when you look at the ‘deals’ out there is it really worth the saving?
I went for a Toshiba Satellite from John Lewis’s because I work full time from home and needed a good guarantee and replacement service.
It’s horses for courses really.

yes i have buyed a refurbished laptop but from laptopsdirect i must say there service is really good. I am happily using it for more than a year and so even recently my husband buy one refurbished from laptopsdirect

not from pc world, say the ram died and it was a decent make, for example ocz, they would just replace it with whatever rubbish was lying around to save costs, have a look at buyit247, they are refurbished, and the parts that break are replaced with the same spec, but sold on much cheaper than buying new. took a refurbished pc back to pc world once because the graphics card was dodgy and the mouse and keyboard didn’t work
