I have two PCs and a wireless internet connection which works for all the laptops in the house but not the other PC. The computer does not pick up the signal at all, and it used to. It has been like this for months and we really don’t know what the problem is.
Any suggestions where to start?
Resetting the router does not work, but works for the laptops.
Best option would be to hard reset the router, and see if the desktop picks it up again.
You can reset the router by:
1. Pressing and holding the reset button for 8 seconds (if it has one)
2. Power off the router, wait 10 seconds, then power on again while reset switch is held down.
Once you’ve reset the router, don’t forget to re-enable the WPA protection and setting a strong password for it.
