I bought a Mac … I bought a Mac because i dont know any other computer companies who attempt to do something like this. I wish big computer manufacturing companies would follow in Apple’s footsteps, then it actually means something
Notice how … Notice how everything said in this add is very vague, “made without many of the other toxins”, wow, be more vague please? Completely recyclable? What on a different laptop isnt? It just costs alot to recycle them. I dont hate macs, I hate mac users for thinking theyre better then pc users, and I hate the company who make these for being able to carve out such a niche in the computer market.

The chassis is aluminum, a massive amount of electricity is needed to forge it.
The PCBs are from foxconn… mediocre quality and they make a mess in Taiwan.
The battery cells are typical Li-ion… no special way to make those.
The only components that are made without polluting are the Japanese capacitors.
I doubt you did any … I doubt you did any research if you saw the vid of the making of this computer they even had there batteries custom made to be green and more efficient.
! only 1% of the … ! only 1% of the resources and materials used to make this new mac “green” book is the actual laptop. the other 99% is waste and is disregarded. how they advertise it as green and environmentally friendly is just ironic and annoying.

Forging means it is made from a single piece.
It’s not cut a with water jet(too slow) it’s punched.
Apple does not made any components in their computers, they contract companies like foxconn(PCB) Samsung(HDD/DD).
Lithium polymer batteries are common.

they never forged …
they never forged it. it is made of one solid piece, they cut it out with water, they recycled the aluminum shavings
they make their own PCB
they have lithium POLYMER batteries
