Im getting a 5735 as a gift and plan on modding a touchscreen to it just have to figure out how to disassemble and figure out if there is enough internal space to place the module board.

I wouldn’t buy …
I wouldn’t buy another Acer! I have had 2. The first after 14 months required a new screen. Cost.. 1500 euros. Now, here in Sweden they want 1200 euros to replace the screen on my 2 year old Acer!!
Get a Mac! Dont use PCpunkten in Linkoping either. They take no responsibility at all.
And… dont take your lap top to Elgiganten for repairs either thats where they want 1200 E!.
No as I said Mac is the most trouble free every time. Acer are finished as far as I am concerned.

did you manage to take it apart, i am in the process of doing the same, but its stuck in the top l/hand corner where the security strap is. find any hidden screws. HELP
