I currently use google chrome internet browser love it and I know google is releasing an OS for netbooks but are they releasing one for desktops and if so any idea when?

Google’s operating system is called chromium and its on beta but is open source.

   On Chrome OS you can only browse the internet, no downloads or anything..but it is free
   If for some reason u want a free os, get Linux Mint
