I’m getting some great deals from my tech friends on Windows 7. I’m definitely going to take advantage of that deal, so I was wondering, what would be some cheap laptops that don’t have Windows 7, but definitely have enough requirements to have it. Please and Thank you.
I suggest you use the Windows Laptop finder to figure out a computer that works for you and fits your budget: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/pc-scout/default.aspx#tour.
On a side note, make sure you are purchasing a genuine copy of Windows: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/genuine

Anything that has more than 2GB of RAM - preferably a 64 bit CPU and the ability to expand to more than 4GB of RAM. One other requirement is that the manufacturer has Windows 7 (or Vista) drivers available for the particular laptop. If they don’t, you won’t be able to run 7 on it.
