i’m having a hard time looking for them since all the computer/electrical shops that i’ve visited don’t sell that particular type of wire.

i learned from electrical shops that wires have actual technical terms. like 16 gauge wire etc.

the ones used by PCs are not the same type of wires used by radio. the wires are smaller.

the one that came with the case is too short, i want to reposition the button on the top of the case for easier access

I’d take a piece in to where you can buy some and compare, or get a wire gauge.

What software do I need to use on my PC so that I can burn a disc with it, that are able to be recognized by Mac OS? Even if I download a Mac only file with my pc and burn it, the Mac doesn’t see it. Help please.

it depends what your burning. certain things can be read perfectly by both system (mp3, mp4, doc, jif, gpeg), but if your burning a program for a system, it must be burned on that same system or there might be some defects

I Have some old pc games (above) that i dont need. Can i sell them for money? They are in good condition.

I don’t think people will buy used world of warcraft CDs because it doesn’t have authentication key anymore. They only need the key to activate their accounts. You can sell Sims if it isn’t MMORPG.

I have a digital camera/camcorder and it has a battery that to charge it you need to detach it from the cam and put it in the charger. Now, when the camcorder is connected to my pc and used as a webcam, will the battery loose charge?

I was looking to buy call of duty 4 on ebay the other day, when it occurred to me that I’m not sure if the key code will work on a used game. The code that I’m referring to is the one that is usually found on the back of the manual. So, let’s say the previous owner had installed that game and already used the key code, when he sells it to me, is that key code useless? Or does it still work?

How long does it take to fully charge a 24 volt lead acid battery with offline UPS(1 VA) used for a single PC. On what factors does the charging time depend upon?

Most UPS’s have a different charge rate. Like say 200mA(milliamp) which a lot of 24V UPS’s I see are charged at, most I have seen without having them connected to your PC can usually take up to 8 hours to charge. Give or take an hour or so. All depends on how drained the battery was when purchased or left sitting around.
I recommend charging before connecting to your PC, it might take as long as 2 days to charge if connected to your PC though. A slow charge is better for the battery than a fast charge, a fast charge can actually heat the battery up and cause them to explode. Try checking the manufacture of the UPS’S website to see if they give an indication of charge time and also for any software upgrades. A good well known name brand company will have these things on the website.
