I have a 360 guitar hero wireless guitar controller.
And i have Guitar Hero World Tour Downloaded on my PC,
so my question is, can 360 GH Guitar be used or transformed in to a PC controller, like with USB?

if the cord is like on the wireless just insert it into a slot on your pc and play the game it should work fine

Yes, the license is good for one computer. It doesn’t matter what computer it is on as long as its only one one of them.

That being said, some pc manufacturers will give you an upgrade disk that is coded to only work w/ the computer it came with, if that were the case you wouldn’t have the option of installing it on the other computer.

I have a new HD TV that I also use as a computer monitor. It’s great for TV watching but too big for PC monitor use. Is there some way to have the TV present a smaller centered image with black around the borders when used as a PC monitor such that it would look exactly the same physical size as say a normal 19" computer monitor?

The store can trace the order based off of the IP address of the computer that placed the order, but they more than likely won’t. What you need to do is call your bank, and let them know what happened. And let the credit report companies know.

I want to use my PC as a PVR, I know it can get HD signals but I was wondering if I could use it to get video from my Direct tv box, then use it with something like GB-PVR.

That device only accepts ATSC signals, and your DirecTV box does not output an ATSC signal.

If you want to receive ATSC and connect your DirecTV box (albeit in SD), you need a tuner card that supports NTSC as well, and likely has A/V inputs.

I have reason to believe that malicious emails are being sent from my PC. Not however from my email address.

If no one is using your Pc from your home
it is possible if you have a wireless remote
If someone has the password to the wireless
remote they can send emails through your PC
To stop that just disable the wireless device

I need a simple used pc to use as a shop point-of-sale unit. It needs to:
- keep cool when running for long periods
- be compact
- be minimal (it won’t be used for anything else and I will only have Linux installed
- be reliable… don’t want it crashing mid-sale!
- fast start time (if it ends up shut down)

What kind of PC would be a good option?

My shop sells small form factor Dells for that sort of purpose.

i’ve tried updating codecs (i’ve got CCCP) and not running any other programmes than the player but it still goes out of sync, i’ve tried media player, zoom player and nero showtime but get the same problem every time any ideas?

Install DivX7 from www.divx.com, before closing the installation check the box to associate mkv files with DivX. You can also try installing the latest Xvid codec from www.xvid.org. Finally you can try updating your AC3 Filter/codec which can be done through either Microsofts Media player website or by typing ac3 filter into a search engine and this will direct you to the AC3 filter website.
Some older versions of Nero do not support MKV or Hd files very well. Also CCCP does seem to have audio sync problems with some high quality video files.
