I’m planning on getting a laptop and right now I have 2 pcs side by side sharing internet through a router and an ethernet cable. There are still slots in the router so could I connect an ethernet cable with the router and the laptop? Or is there a more complicated process?

I am planning on getting a Motorola Droid with a bad ESN number, but I would like to know if it is possible to have web browsing and picture messaging. If so how do I go about flashing it to Metro PCS?

it is possible but not in the moment.
the droid is like a iphone
iphone took about 3 months to unlock and another 2 months for the internet to work on tmobile.
the droid took 2 months to find a flash to metropcs (which has been found).
the code for the internet and mms for flashed metropcs droid has not yet been found or solve.
but i know it will be coming up soon

I need to buy a new phone. I’m on metro pcs, but I don’t want to buy a metro phone. I Sony want to buy a metro pcs phone, because their phones break to easy. What do you think would be the best sprint/verizon phone that you can flash to metro?

well i would say, idk, the lg voyager? but note that if you flash a sprint or verizon to metro you cannot send or recieve pictures, nor use the web browser, just texting and calling.

I want to download yahoo messenger for my metro pcs phone called Samsung Messenger. But I have no idea where to find it at.. Or actually i have no idea where to download it at.

metro pcs doesn’t have a messenger but you could go to

I have two pcs and a wireless internet connection which works for all the laptops in the house but not the other PC. The computer does not pick up the signal at all, and it used to. It has been like this for months and we really don’t know what the problem is.

Any suggestions where to start?
Resetting the router does not work, but works for the laptops.

Best option would be to hard reset the router, and see if the desktop picks it up again.

You can reset the router by:

1. Pressing and holding the reset button for 8 seconds (if it has one)

2. Power off the router, wait 10 seconds, then power on again while reset switch is held down.

Once you’ve reset the router, don’t forget to re-enable the WPA protection and setting a strong password for it.

Also, if you put in a request for another post how long does it take to find out where you will pcs to? And how far in advance to you get the orders before you leave?

anywhere from 2 weeks prior to having to report to several months. we got our latest set the Monday before Thanksgiving.. to report NLT March to Okinawa Japan. not a whole lotta time to get stuff done that’s for sure.

And if i can is it a good bargain to buy online on ebay or craigslist if used?

The best way to do it would be to download ringtones to your desktop computer instead.Then with a usb cord & memory card, port the songs to your phone that way. You won’t be using internet.

I have 2 PCs. One is running Windows 7, the other has Ubuntu/Linux. What can I do to instantaneously communicate with whoever is using the other PC(besides yelling?). Besides AIM or Yahoo or other messengers. Thanks.

If both pcs were running Windows, this would be no problem. They would both be running on a "Windows Network" (if your router is set up correctly to allow PCs to interact with each other). Unfortunately, one of your computers is running Linux, which complicates things.

Have you ever flashed a phone recently or if ever used from another company to metro pcs? What changes about the phone (like the menu screen, stuff like that, such as phone tools w/e)
